This 2024 Charcoal-Roasted Wild Gongmei comes from trees that are approximately 30 years old, originating from the Fuding native variety (Caicha). It was harvested and processed in early April 2024.
The tea consists of one bud and two leaves, with slender, grayish-white buds and leaves that appear dark green or emerald green.
The production process combines sun-drying with charcoal roasting, preserving more of the natural essence of the fresh leaves.
The tea liquor is yellowish-white, with a restrained and gentle floral aroma accompanied by medicinal notes, offering a sweet and mellow taste.
This is a tea recommended by Guzi for storage. White tea typically appreciates in value by 15-20% per year; high-quality charcoal-roasted handcrafted white tea is already rare, and good aged white tea is even scarcer.
